 2. Genode at FOSDEM 2025
 ------------------------

With much excitement, we are looking forward to the FOSDEM 2025
conference that will be held in just one week.

FOSDEM conference for Free and Open-Source Software

February 1-2 2025, in Brussels, Belgium

   https://fosdem.org/2025/

As promised in the previous newsletter, we will host a joint
stand together with the QubesOS project. In the meantime, the
stand location has been set. You will find us on Saturday and
Sunday at the 1st floor of the K building (stand 1).

Besides the stand, Genode will be present at the Microkernel
Developer Room taking place at Saturday in the afternoon. Let
me highlight two Genode-related presentations in particular:

Saturday 15:30 at the microkernel devroom (UB4.136)
   "Celebrating kernel diversity with Genode"
   (presented by Alexander Boettcher)
   https://fosdem.org/2025/schedule/event/fosdem-2025-5768-celebrating-kernel-diversity-with-genode/

Saturday 18:40 at the microkernel devroom (UB4.136)
"Trusted boot with the Genode OS Framework"
   (presented by Alice Domage)
   https://fosdem.org/2025/schedule/event/fosdem-2025-4140-trusted-boot-with-the-genode-os-framework/

It goes without saying that the schedule of the developer room
 is packed with further highlights:

For those of you who don't plan to attend FOSDEM in person,
note that FOSDEM usually provides live streams of most talks.

 3. Road map for 2025
 --------------------

Our updated road map dedicates the year 2025 to rigidity, clarity,
and performance. The open brain-storming on our public mailing list
inspired an ambitious feature schedule of our releases in 2025. Get
a glimpse at Genode's foreseeable future by visiting the road map
 webpage:
